CRRS welcomes Dr. Amyrose McCue Gill as the new Assistant to the Director, CRRS. A BA graduate of the Renaissance Studies Program and Italian Studies here at Victoria University inUniversity of Toronto, Amyrose went on to complete her MA and PhD in Italian Studies at theUniversity of California, Berkeley, writing a dissertation on “Vera amicizia: Conjugal Friendshipin the Italian Renaissance.” She followed up with postdoctoral research at Cornell University,publishing articles on the letters of Laura Cereta and on Frate Cherubino’s Regola della vitamatrimoniale. Amyrose is also an accomplished singer, with a M.M. in Vocal Performance. Inaddition to her academic expertise, she brings library experience as a curatorial assistant at theDoe Library (Berkeley) and administrative experience as a research associate for a non-profitcorporation. We are excited to welcome her back to the CRRS community late in July.
CRRS says goodbye and a huge “thank you” to Dr. Stephanie Treloar. She has been a terrific contributor to all parts of the CRRS operation as Assistant to the Director over the past three years. We all wish Stephanie well in her new position in the Division of Advancement at theUniversity of Toronto.
