Rare Books

Welcome to the CRRS Rare Book Collection!

The CRRS Rare Book collection is renowned for the depth and quality of its materials relating to Erasmus of Rotterdam. In addition, we have a substantial library of rare books by a variety of Italian and Northern European humanists, scientists and theologians. Our rare book library boasts volumes in English, Latin, Italian, German, French and Spanish. With over 4,000 volumes available for consultation, the CRRS is one of North America’s premier centres for the study of the Reformation and Renaissance.
