Carleton Renaissance Plays in Translation

Carleton Renaissance Plays in Translation provides well-known and lesser-known plays from the European Renaissance, most of them appearing in English translation for the first time. All are presented with introductions, bibliographies and reading notes, and are excellent for courses in theatre history, Renaissance culture, or comparative literature. The series was published under the imprint of Dovehouse Publications from 1985 to 2004. In 2009, the Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies began publishing volumes in the series.
