“Revealing the Early Renaissance will be on view at the AGO from March 16 until June 16 2013. The exhibition will celebrate the remarkable flowering of art in the City of Florence between 1300 and 1350, and will feature more than 90 works including paintings, illuminated manuscripts, sculpture and stained glass. Featured works of art include at least three panel paintings by Giotto di Bondone that travel only on rare occasions, and the reunited pages of the Laudario of San’Agnese– the early Renaissance’s most luxurious manuscript.”
