Lectio Divina: Can We Still Read like Medieval Monks?

This lecture surveys the change in reading habits over the centuries and especially since the advent of printing.  How do we adapt our reading habits when it comes to this type of reading?  This lecture invites participants to learn about reading habits through the practice of lectio divina.

About the speaker: Before joining the faculty of the Dominican College in Ottawa, Professor Doutre spent over 30 years in the Cistercian Abbey Val-Notre-Dame.  He is a clinical psychologist and professor of biblical studies.
