Jeremy Catto was Rhodes Fellow and Tutor in Modern History, Oriel College, University of Oxford until his retirement in 2006. Prof. Catto is editor and part author of the first two volumes of the eight-volume History of the University of Oxford and his research interests lie in the politics and religion of later medieval England.
The lecture is co-sponsored by the Centre for Medieval Studies, University of Toronto and the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies.
