John Wesley is a postdoctoral fellow and instructor in the Department of English. He is currently finishing a book-length project based on his PhD thesis (St Andrews), titled Mulcaster’s Boys: The Art of Delivery in English Renaissance Literature, and starting another project on the botched attempts to standardize English in the sixteenth-century.
