Jeremy Lopez is Associate Professor of English at the University of Toronto. He is the author of Theatrical Convention and Audience Response in Early Modern Drama (Cambridge 2003) and Shakespeare Handbooks: Richard II (Palgrave 2009). His current work in progress, a monograph tentatively titled Constructing the Canon of Early Modern Drama, will be published by Cambridge in 2013. With Paul Menzer he is the editor of The Hare, a peer-reviewed on-line journal in the field of early modern studies; and he is the author of numerous articles on the drama of Shakespeare and his contemporaries.
The Friday Workshops are a series of workshops in an informal setting, designed to give students and faculty opportunities to present works in progress for interdisciplinary critical discussion.
