A practical, hands-on five-day workshop to help students and scholars develop the skills necessary to carry out research with early modern Italian manuscripts and rare books. Materials covered will include literary, administrative, and legal documents from the fifteenth, sixteenth, and seventeenth centuries in Italian and in a variety of hands. The workshop is taught by Professor Konrad Eisenbichler (Renaissance Studies and Italian Studies, University of Toronto).
The CRRS Italian Paleography seminar will take place from May 14th at 10:00am to May 18th at 12:00pm in the Private Dining Room, upstairs from the senior common room in Burwash hall, Victoria University campus (89 Charles Street West, Rear Entrance)
