Early Modern Interdisciplinary Graduate Forum VI

All interested faculty and students are invited!

The Early Modern Interdisciplinary Graduate Forum (EMIGF) will be holding its sixth meeting of the academic year on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.

EMIGF is a monthly event where you can meet and engage in conversation with early modernists (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty) from across the disciplines. Please consider joining us for two 15-20 minute papers and what should be a lively discussion.

When: Thursday, March 12, 2015, 4:00PM-5:30PM
Where: Senior Common Room, Burwash Hall, Victoria College (89 Charles Street)

Speakers:

Colin Rose (History):  “Violent Communities: The Bolognese Contado in the Seventeenth Century”

Chris Pugh (English; Book History & Print Culture):  “Placebo: Ritualized grief in John Skelton’s Phyllyp Sparowe”

Joanna Ludwikowska (CRRS Fellow) will be moderating.

Coffee, tea, and cookies will be provided.
