Early Modern Interdisciplinary Graduate Forum V

All interested faculty, students, and alumni are invited!

The Early Modern Interdisciplinary Graduate Forum (EMIGF) will be holding its fifth meeting of the academic year on Thursday, February 25th, 2016.

EMIGF is a monthly event where you can meet and engage in conversation with early modernists (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty) from across the disciplines. Please consider joining us for two 15-20 minute papers and what should be a lively discussion.

When: Thursday, February 25th, 2016, 4:00PM-5:30PM

Where: Senior Common Room, Burwash Hall, Victoria College (89 Charles Street)

Mehmet Kuru (History): “Oasis in the midst of the Little Ice Age: The Rise of Western Anatolia during the first half of the seventeenth century”

Tianna Uchacz (Art History): “A Grotesque Intrusion: Ornament as Narrative Participant in Christ’s Passion”

Sebastiano Bazzichetto (Italian Studies) will be moderating.

Coffee, cookies, and tea will be provided by the Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies.
