The Early Modern Interdisciplinary Graduate Forum (EMIGF) will be holding its third meeting of the academic year on Tuesday November 6. EMIGF is a monthly event where you can meet and engage in conversation with early modernists (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty) from across the disciplines. Please consider joining us for two 15-20 minute papers and what should be a lively discussion.
Susannah Rutherglen (Art History, CRRS) will be presenting on: “Painting at the Threshold: Pictures for Doors in Renaissance Florence.”
Mingjun Lu (English) will be presenting on: “Chinese Chronology and Paradise Lost: Milton’s Apologetics and Global Cosmopolitanism.”
Rachel F. Stapleton (Comparative Literature) will be moderating.
