Early Modern Interdisciplinary Graduate Forum IV

All interested faculty and students are invited!

The Early Modern Interdisciplinary Graduate Forum (EMIGF) will be holding its fourth meeting of the academic year on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.

EMIGF is a monthly event where you can meet and engage in conversation with early modernists (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty) from across the disciplines. Please consider joining us for two 15-20 minute papers and what should be a lively discussion.

When: Tuesday, January 27, 2015, 4:00PM-5:30PM
Where: Senior Common Room, Burwash Hall, Victoria College (89 Charles Street)


Meredith Donaldson Clark (Post-Doctoral Fellow, English) will be speaking on:

“Renaissance *Ekphrasis* and the Poetics of *Descriptio*”

Elizabeth Klaiber (Department for the Study of Religion; Book History & Print Culture) will be speaking on:

“Shifting sites of responsibility: approaches by sixteenth century authorities to contain and cure heresy in England”
