Early Modern Interdisciplinary Graduate Forum: No. 13

Coffee,  tea, cookies and fruit will be provided by the Centre for Reformation  and Renaissance Studies.

EMIGF is a monthly event where you can meet and engage in conversation with early modernists (graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty) from across the disciplines. Please consider joining us for two 15-20 minute papers and what should be a lively discussion.

Mauricio Suchowlansky (Political Science, CRRS) will be presenting on:
“Machiavelli’s Sommario delle Cose di Lucca: Venice as a Buon Governo.”

Anne-Marie Sorrenti (Italian) will be presenting on:
“Rereading Il Principe and Il libro del cortegiano in Light of Book IV of Della famiglia: Albertian Echoes in Machiavelli and Castiglione.”
