The Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies invites abstracts for a series of panels it will sponsor at RSA in Boston (2016) on the theme of collaboration in the period from approximately 1350 to 1700.
Possible topics might include but are not limited to instances of illicit collaboration, such as collusion, unlawful gatherings, or plagiarism; social networks or inventories that permit discoveries and inventions; co-creation in the visual or plastic arts; notions of join participation or koinonia in the Reformation; cooperation or co-opetition on the Renaissance stage; customs, practices or civilities of guilds and confraternities; and the tension between individualism and the collective. Papers are welcome from any discipline.
