Soc), on the occasion of A Snapshot of Tuscany, a month long series of tastings, lectures and events celebrating Italian Heritage Month in June promoted by the Bata Shoe Museum and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura.

The Dominican Priory San Marco is today a museum that houses the frescoes of Beato Angelico, a best-loved artist of the early Italian Renaissance. Dr. Zerafa the Aquinas Visiting Scholar at the Faculty of Theology, University of St. Michael’s College, will lecture on the artist commonly known as Fra Angelico, the chapel of San Marco and its magnificent frescoes and altarpiece.
Rev. Dr. Marius Zerafa, O.P. (S.T.L., Lect. Th., A.R. Hist. S., Dr. Sc. Soc) is a noted and extraordinary scholar, art historian and restorer. He is former Curator and Director of the Malta Museums. He is Chair of the Archdiocese of Malta’s Commission for Sacred Art and Vice-President of the Malta Arts Biennale. Dr. Zerafa is lecturer at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, Rome.
