Friday Workshops

The Friday Workshops are a series of workshops in an informal setting, designed to give students and faculty opportunities to present works in progress for interdisciplinary critical discussion.

Toronto Renaissance and Reformation Colloquium (TRRC)

The Toronto Renaissance and Reformation Colloquium (TRRC) is a not-for-profit organization of scholars interested in the period. TRRC organizes a series of professional lectures every year, and assists in the publication of the journal Renaissance and Reformation / Renaissance et Réforme. The current president is Grégoire Holtz from the Department of French, University of Toronto.  See more about the TRRC.

CRRS-sponsored Conferences

Each year, the CRRS sponsors one or more international and interdisciplinary conferences hosted at Victoria College, at the University of Toronto. On October 22-24 we are hosting Rethinking Early Modern Print Culture and in the spring of 2011, the Canada Milton Seminar. See a list of past conferences.

Erasmus Lectures

In recognition of the importance of the Centre’s Erasmus Collection, each year a scholar of international reputation is invited to present a formal lecture at the CRRS. See a list of past Erasmus Lecturers.

Distinguished Visiting Scholar

Each year a senior scholar of distinction is invited to visit the CRRS to share his or her current research with the faculty and graduate students in Toronto and its vicinity, and to give two seminars. The program is designed to make possible informal contact between the visitor and local scholars. See a list of past Distinguished Visiting Scholars.
